We’re back with Season 2 of the Fringes of the Faith vidcast! To kick it off, Pastors Paul Henderson and Parkey Cobern dive into discussion over Enoch and everything we know about him.

This week, in the final podcast of what we’ll call season 1, Pastors Paul and Parkey discuss the original Hell’s Angel. Not the biker gang, but actually Jesus, the Christian Messiah and Savior, who went to hell during the time His physical body was dead and in the grave. This wasn’t because He was deserving of judgment, but rather to save some present there.

This week, Pastor Paul is joined by Worship Director Stephano Librelon and Media Director Austin Bond to discuss the cultural shift into political correctness to what is now called wokeness. What exactly does it mean to be “woke,” and why is it a dangerous mentality and poor approach to handling the problems facing us? This is part 1 of a 2 part discussion.

“Everyone can get to heaven!” “There are many ways to salvation!” “You go to heaven just if you’re a good person!” We’ve seen a massive surge in recents years of progressive christianity, and with it, the many roads to “paradise.” While the Bible is clear in the words of Jesus himself that He is the only way to the Father, there is still an argument that there are other ways. Pastors Paul and Parkey put these to rest and explain what the Bible says.

This week, Pastors Paul and Parkey discuss the constant conflict surrounding Israel. Who are they, why do they exist, are they occupying stolen land, and why are they so important to us? Just as it is becoming increasingly prevalent to be anti-racist, so you should also be ANTI-anti-semitic.

Today’s focus is on the importance of blood sacrifice, and how the very first blood sacrifice and the last blood sacrifice were both provided by God, because no matter what humankind does, it will always be imperfect. Humans are unable to cover their own transgressions because we are flawed. Only God can cover and forgive sin and only by the shedding of blood. And we in the faith consider this the Blood Covenant.

Today, Pastors Parkey and Paul discuss the lessons that Capstone learned on how we as a church, and all churches, should handle the next "pandemic," whatever and whenever that may be. It has been a very polarizing and confusing year and a half under the coronavirus, and we took away 4 major lessons from what we experienced so we know how to better approach issues in the future. We hope you can learn from these lessons as well and apply them to yourselves personally.

Today, we are experiencing a crisis in the church, especially in the United States. We as a church collective have slowly slipped out of credibility and integrity, adapting to culture and pursuing popularity. It seems that selecting a church today is a lot like shopping for a car; it’s being approached with a list of desired features and criteria that “need” to be met, much more than praying and following God’s guidance for where He wants us planted. Now of course, we need to be aware of our surrounding culture to be able to meet people where they are and get their attention, but we’ve turned it into a beauty pageant of church versus church, convenience to the “consumer,” with no personal accountability to the members of the church out of fear of offending and losing people instead of righteously calling out correction when someone misses the mark.
